On the evening of Thursday 16th September 1999 I went to the IRISH OAK PUB to see my mates perform their first proper public performance, this time as PART TIME PUNKS. The band performed their usual songs with great vigour. My favourite tracks of the night were TURNING JAPANESE, IS VIC THERE, and JILTED JOHN. One of the tracks they performed, COMPLETE CONTROL, I actually heard a few weeks later on Top Of The Pops 2 by the CLASH (who were the original artists), after hearing this version I decided I preferred the PART TIME PUNKS version.

Although I had to leave before the end I understand the general public really enjoyed the band, in fact a few people thanked the band for performing. I for one can't wait for their next gig.
